Course Overviews
the DRIP: Level 1
Digital Revolutions in Practice
This level 1 course focuses on digital designing and printing for the everyday dentist. Working closely with Exocad, we brought to light a course for the general dentist that will bridge the gap between the unknown and whats beyond possible. Participants will leave with a solid foundation on how to design a digital waxup as well as be given the opportunity to bring their own cases to design and print at the workshop.
Level 2: the HEAT - Comprehensive Track
This advanced workshop will focus around full arch designing along with incorporating virtual articulator and Kois principles into treatment planning. This workshop also focuses onutilizing bite splint module for night guards, deprogrammers and esthetic crown lengthening guides. On the last day, there will be introduction to implant planning, surgical guides and temporary implant crowns and abutments utilizing exoplan.
PREREQUISITE: Level 1 completed or entry level training for exocad.
Level 2: the DAXUP - Cosmetic Track
This advanced workshop is a deeper dive into perfecting smile design and waxups. This workshop will alos focus on printing temporaries and shell temporaries based off a proposed waxup or from scratch as well as post processing (polish/staining). For those that are milling, this workshop is beneficial for crowns as well.
PREREQUISITE: Level 1 completed or entry level training for exocad.
3D Printing Course
This level 1 course is a hands on gateway experience that focuses on everything you need to get running with 3D printing in an easy to understand and follow format. Participants will gain insight and real world clinical applications for 3D printing and is geared for those wanting to elevate their digital workflow. Led by renowned digital expert Dr. Tadros, a keynote speaker on digital dentistry and a board-accredited cosmetic dentist, along with Dr. Nate Lawson, the genius mind behind the researchers of Dentinal Tube, this workshop will cover key aspects of digital workflows, enabling you to seamlessly integrate digital dentistry into your practice. Join Dr. Tadros and Dr. Lawson as they give her honest and simplified approach to 3D printing. Learn what works, what doesn’t and everything in between. Participants will leave with a solid foundation on how to maximize their 3D printers in their practice and empower their team to be part of their digital workflows.
Kois Course
This unique two day hands on course is taught at the Kois Center and is designed to provide a gateway experience into navigating the digital world utilizing Kois Principles. Participants will utilize exocad software to learn how to bring in their reference glasses photos, scans and data to streamline their digital workflow as it relates to treatment planning and case set up. Participants will be able to utilize Kois principles and parameters as it relates to designing all while working with a virtual articulator and learn to design nightguards and deprogrammers.
